Interiors, not ships

I would love some more interiors, but not ship ones, that's a waste of dev time.

Horizons settlements! Mega ships!

We could have a ton of gameplay arround these structures!

Let us poke arround inside Dav's Hope. Let us get into all those bases we only visit with an SRV. There are so many options for things to do and it would update existing content!

Fleet carrier concourses are theoretically ship interiors. Just sayin...

It's just that there is only one type of it. And there's little gameplay to be had inside.

I would love more concourse variation based on settlement type. Honestly.

The first time I went to a concourse on a surface port and discovered it was a different layout to a station... I had been visiting concourses for a year and had only ever seen one layout (I guess I mostly dock at stations) so I thought all port interior layouts were the same. It was SO COOL to find myself looking around, orienting myself, taking in the vibe instead of just beelining for the service I wanted to check.

It might be too late now, but I'd like to see the different types of stations have different layouts.
 
Also, while the stations and surface ports have fantastic views out their windows, the outposts I've been to seem to have their window facing empty space instead of the body they're orbiting. That seems like a missed opportunity. I'm guessing they're oriented so that landing or takeoff has the nice view (and the interior is aligned to the structure in a way that makes structural sense but has that unfortunate result.) Or is this another case of luck and outposts are regularly aligned so the interior can view the body?

Or do outposts maintain their star-system orientation during orbit so the body is in view some of the time and out of view other times?

Crashed ships on planets and derelict ships in space could also give lots of gameplay opportunities, just as much if not more than Horizon settlements.

Sorry, but I fail to see how that's a waste of dev time, and this isn't.

Personally, I'd like to see the horizon settlement explorable on foot as well as the crashed and derelict ships.

Missions areas within stations getting access with the lift system.

With planetary ports, we should be able to leave the station on foot if we want to via the lift and the places should have skimmers and people in suits going around their business.

Make it look more alive.

I'd like to see missions specific PG temporary pirate bases, which you're tasked to clear out for missions or to retrieve something using stealth instead. Maybe have more than one way into these places, using the cutting tool to get access instead of just blasting your way through.
 
Even something as basic as being to take a lift or find a stairwell out from the concourse to the outside would be great. We could have surface pads that don't go into the ground for variety, walking into the bar to do business. Fend off attacks by pirates or whatever by scrambling to our ships when they come under attack and get a free beer at the bar afterwards for being a standup guy. 🤷‍♂️
 
Would love something like a deep mine shaft with explorable areas branching from it as it descends. Hmm...guess I just want some dungeons, lol

I was profoundly disappointed when I went to Dav's Hope after Odyssey dropped and found it was still the same inaccessible buildings.

There are settlements on worlds that are too hot travel on during the day. These should be mostly underground connected by tunnels with only one or two domes exposed to give residents some sky at night or sunrise/sunset. There should be no surface patrols during the day if at all. They would also make great locations for missions. 🤷‍♂️
