When in my ship, my key bindings will not open the internal or external panels. I have to enable head look and then look at them.

Not sure which panels you're referring to. In the ship there is Left, Right, Down UI and the Message area. All of which are accessed through UI focus.
I apologize for lack of clarity, it is the left and right panels.
Some time back they did change the names of the "left/right" panels to "internal/external/comm/roles". So you can check your setup in "mode switches" and make sure the "internal/external/comm/roles" options are still set up correctly, or consider re-entering your desired keystrokes/joystick/etc input and see if that helps.

No changes to mapping, other than when alpha was released. I deleted them, then re added them and still wont work. when I look at the panels they open...I think I will try and report it as bug.
