If I had one request that could be granted in this game, I would love new buildings. More than that, have buildings themed by the regions of the world represented by the dig sites the fossils came from. I know this will most probably never happen, but it would be nice to have an Asian theme, a British/Euro theme, an African theme, a South American theme, and a North American theme. It would be another way to make the parks different from each other.

Doubt it, because this game aims to be well themed to its parent series in the JP franchise. They've confirmed last year they wanted to make sure the game looks and feels like it belongs in the franchise as a whole in respect with the help of Universal Studios. If you want more new buildings or any other kind of structure in-game, they all need to follow the same direction as all the others to look and feel like they belong in the universe this game is based off of.

Yeah, seems like only real international representation could be natural scenery (not that we're likely to get too much of that).
That said a small map or sign with the shape of the continent might be possible, without being too intrusive.
A potential alternative could be a place-able flag pole where you can change the flag. I'm not sure it'd be possible for a flag from every country with a digsite, but I could imagine United Kingdom, United States, China and Argentina being represented, maybe Canada as well. Then again this might be a bit intrusive.
