Is there a way of scanning or otherwise finding out what's inside a USS before going to all the bother of getting inside it and finding it's just junk or a bridal party or a funeral party, etc?
Sadly not. It would be great if we could buy some kind of scanner that allowed us to resolve Unidentified Signals into Identified Signals, even if the identification was fairly vague.
