In default of the separate banks for each station, perhaps, of separate banks for each faction (Federation, Empire, Alliance) to start ?

yeah that might actually be a better way to do it at the start really. I mean considering we only have a handful of systems with stations right now but once the game has grown we'll have many many stations with crazy amounts of banks who knows, I think the possibilities with this idea are endless when implemented into such a monumentally sized game
