Newcomer / Intro Interstellar factor contact for large ships

Hello All,

I can find Interstellar Factor Contacts (I think that is what they are called - where you can pay off or collect all of your various transactions for a fee). But I have a ship that requires a large landing pad. I can not find any of these services in a station that have large landing pads. Anybody know of any such stations?

Thx

There is a system called Stopover (in Fed space) that has a coriolis station and Interstellar Factors. Can't remember the station name, but there's only one... :)

Any station in an anarchy/low security has a chance of containing one.

Open up your galaxy map set the filter to security and select any green (lowsec) or red (anarchy) system go into the system map from the galaxy map (if you have the data). Now mouse over the stations with details selected (the little horizontal lines tab second one along) interstellar factors show up as "broker network" in the facilities list.

Ignore the outposts if you are in a big ship, once you've found the one you want you can plot a route to it with your mouse direct from that system map.

If you have a large ship, you can afford to buy a basic Sidewinder. Land at a nearby system; buy the Sidewinder; go visit the Interstellar factor; do your business with him; fly back to your main ship; sell the Sidewinder or keep it there for the next visit. Total cost about 2,000cr. You've probably already spent that on fuel in your large ship looking for the interstellar factor guy.

Good suggestion, and yes, that is what I have been doing. I haven't had any luck finding anything on the map or while visiting systems, but though I would bookmark a station or two capable of large ships if they existed.

Thx Again Faded Glorey .... I just looked it up on the map ... System: Stopover / Station: Drinkwater

This will be a little more convenient that having to jump into a small ship just to go cash in collected transactions or pay fines. I will be able to swing in there whenever I am in the area.

To see the system data you need to buy it or have visited, you can always download it at navbeacons.

Any low security system with a surface port has a good chance of having an IF contact. It's handy because I'm currently bounty hunting my way through the compromised nav beacons of low security systems so the two go hand in hand.

Last time I found one of those types on contacts was at a surface port when I was running superconductors to Maia, Obsidian Orbital.
It's fairly random where they are, but low security is fair bet and surface ports are handy because they have large pads.

There is one at Campbell Horizons in Abroin and at Bushkov Dock in Borovii. Both are Coriolis stations.

Keep in mind you can filter the Galaxy Map by systems with Interstellar Factors. Choose "Services" from the filter and it's the second to last option.

Here are some additional options:

SystemStationStation Type
LuggerCaryanda EnterpriseCoriolis
KattaFreud's InheritancePlanetary
LTT 4487Grabe's FollyPlanetary

I think you have to visit the system or maybe a station in the system before the GalMap's Services filter works. I know the Security filter doesn't have that requirement.

inara.cz -> nearest systems -> enter your system -> select Interstellar Factors -> Look for a result that looks like a starport ....

Yep - there's quite a few around.

Sometimes finding things in Inara is a bit confusing. Hopefully this helps.
