Even If I often criticize the game, made me kinda sad to read all negative feedbacks on "The Enclave" video on YouTube.
I think these presentation videos are an interesting innovation and Will fits preatty well the role of anchorman
The problem is that the Interstellar Initiatives reuse old game loops that are in the game since years now. So many people are not really motivated.
These should be, instead, the mean to introduce some new minor gameplay, or access to something new in the game.
For example, last September there were more than 11,000 players ready to jump in the Cone Sector with The Gnosis. These are bigger numbers than the ones we see in regular CG.
So here is the suggestion...
Make an Interstellar initiative like The Gnosis, were players can explore a locked sector. FDEV said that these are locked for future contents, well future is NOW and THIS is the future contents that we need so take this chance to start unlocking few limited locations!
Add new and specific contents to these newly unlocked regions and some new cool feature, something new to find at exploration level and a new small gameloop to interact with these new features.
You can also use the Codex Rumors for the Intersteallar Initiatives to add a bit of mistery and investigation and egange the player community.
You really need to understand that we don't need new modules AT THE END of the Interstellar Initiative, we need new way to play the game DURING the Interstellar Initiative to make these events a success.
