Didn't find anything on with the search tool on this.
Has anyone tried getting out of the sphere? Or it simply doesn't let you jump beyond.
I'm tempted to try, but don't have that much to pay for insurance on an Anaconda a if my ship just explodes for hitting a wall I'm not gonna like it
You can't select planets outside the bubble in the left hand panel. If you select it in the galaxy map and try to jump you get a message about a drive malfunction. Now that we've got fuel I doubt super cruising any inter planetary distance is possible. Even FA-Off uses fuel.
But you never know. Someone, apparently, found a way to get from the missions into the open game. The bugs I've seen that allow unintended things to happen seem to involve canceling an action and kind of tricking selection.
We're currently limited to 50 odd systems. I'm sure it won't be too long until we have access to the 400 billion stars that the game will contain though. We'll always be limited by the performance and type of engine our ships have and their fuel capacity though I think.
