Into the Fog

[Rooster Podunk]

While surveying out in The Veils I happened on this little rocky moon of a rocky moon. Intrigued by it's exotic look I decided to go take a peek.

While in orbital flight this treat rolled up over the horizon.

Dropping from orbital flight the I guided the Ghost down into the glow.

Once inside the crater the ship started it's decent thru the murk.

The ground crept up under the ship. At 100 meters my lights still couldn't find the bottom.

Finally about 55 meters to the deck and the rocks appeared.

I set the Ghost down, and watched the specter of this moon's parent's moon creep past in the fog.

Alone in the dark I broke out the charts and went to work planning the next leg of this adventure.

btw. that's what you can get anytime you land on a Moon that is being eclipsed, i.e. by its parent body.

For direct pasting into the Forum, it's filesize limited AFAIK (1 MB image size max.) , Forum will auto re-scale (a display re-size only) too-large images which then can be clicked to view and/or fullscreen (= original Image size is retained).
Thus, no specific Image size is required.

Linking to images via URL doesn't impose any size restriction for all I know.

To test, just create a reply and press the Insert Image Icon (or CTRL + P), insert desired Test Image and preview Results. Click CANCEL once you're done without posting anything.
