Today, we present to you the concept demostrator of a new super-cargo-hauler we've nicknamed the "Type 42". By combining six surplus Type 7 hulls we've created a ship with a total cargo capacity of 1440 tonnes.
It may look like a housebrick and handle like a moon but there is no more cheaper, nor efficient way of transporting bulk cargo in the galaxy.
Spax industries is proposing a partnership with Lakon to solve their Type 7 problem and provide a far cheaper, if more basic, alternative to Zorgon Peterson's forthcoming Panther Clipper Mk II.
Timeline to production, pending partnership with Lakon and overcoming the misgivings of the Pilots federation, is late 3312, early 3313.
