Introduction message with friend requests

Dear Frontier,

It would be great if we could add a short introduction message when we send out a friend request in Elite: Dangerous.

The message doesn't have to be very long, something like the length of a tweet. It could be used to add messages to the friend request like "Hi, remember me, we met at Lavecon", "Hi, we were chatting in the forums and you said send a friend request", "Hi, I'm <insert name> from work", or "Hi, I'm <insert name> from Twitch chat".

Adding a message to a friend request could be optional of course, but sometimes I've been been in a position where I've received a friend request from someone I know but I don't associate their CMDR name with their real name and I don't know who I'm accepting/rejecting.

For the person on the receiving end it would increase the chance of being able to accept friend requests from people they know and not random strangers.

Having the ability to add a message could lead to abuse with someone sending random insulting messages through friend requests, however, with the current ability in ED to block or report players I don't see this being a big problem.

Many thanks,
CMDR Taimaru
