Invasive Species pack - Your thoughts

Just an idea, but how would a pack consisting of highly invasive species sound to y'all?

Like, the opposite of conservation (sorta), this DLC and maybe the update can talk about the effects of invasive species and how people should be more careful in bringing non-native animals or letting pets free, you know?


If you were to make a pack about this, how would you make it?

I wouldnt because its to far away from what a zoo is meant to be.
While european zoos serve as a sanctuary for invasive species, as it means zoo or death for them if they get caught, this isnt the case in most countries.
In most countiries, invasive species just get killed or let be, which i do not deem good or bad, but its nothing a zoo game should give its take on.
+ because of the charismatic nature of marketing, it would be easy to idolise these amazing creatures in the wrong context.

I'm trying to put together a pack:

  1. Raccoon
  2. Wild boar
  3. Red fox
  4. European rabbit
  5. Indian grey mongoose
  6. Nutria (rat; aka coypu)
  7. Dromedary camel - yes it is, in Australia, believe it or not
  8. Burmese python

It would include a lot of fan favorites tbh, and it could have a focus on conservation anyway. Is a pretty boring list of animals imo but here we go...

1. Red fox
2. Red deer
3. Wild boar
4. Coipu
5. Rabbits (any species, this is the one that could be interesting since we will give us a new rig)
6. NA raccoon
7. Feral cat
8. Cane toad / Burmese python

Honestly we are missing invasive birds in a pack like this as well... but oh well... Frontier.

I have decided to primarily go for some more unusual introduced species.

1. Greater rhea - There is a breeding population of these living on protected land in Germany
2. Chinese water deer - The alien population in the UK is around 40% of the global population and is of a form now extinct in its native range
3. Himalayan tahr - Introduced in New Mexico, Argentina and New Zealand; has largely been removed from South Africa to make way for native klipspringers
4. Parma wallaby - It was an introduced population of these found in New Zealand in 1965 that confirmed the species was still alive
5. Common raccoon - A fairly obvious choice, introduced to Europe, Russia and Japan
6. Patas monkey - This species of monkey was introduced to an offshore island of Puerto Rico for study, but have since escaped to the mainland and made themselves at home
7. Giant eland - A small herd of these were introduced to central Cuba; as of 2001 they had a population of about five hundred animals
Exhibit. Cane toad - Has to be, to be honest - its introduction to Australia is pretty much the stuff of legend, and it has also been introduced to other parts of the world

I would want this as a scenery pack -

1. Racoon
2. Mallard duck
3. Wild boar or red fox
4. Dromedary

ex. goldfish as our furst truly aquatic exhibit animals

And then SO MANY plants, which aren't necessarily invasive or bad in their home range, but can quickly go out of control when introduced to the wrong place.

Here's some invasive species in New Zealand:
  • Brush-tailed possum.
  • European rabbit.
  • European red deer.
  • European wild boar.
  • Himalayan tahr.
  • Chamois.
  • Red-necked wallaby.
Plus a bunch of birds, reptiles, and tiny creatures. Of that list I'd like to see the wallaby, chamois, tahr, and possum.
