I was flying around a resource extraction site popping wanted NPC's, when I noticed someone had been dropping proximity mines like tic-tac's.
I was flying around them and noticed my point defence was going crazy, turns out it doesn't just target missiles and torpedoes, but proximity mines as well.
However I sat their for a good while, while my point defence fired on some of the mines and they failed to explode. I even then reversed pulled the big guns out and let rip with the beam lasers and multi-canon and the mine just took it all and didn't drop below the 1%....
