Was mining with some Friends in a Belt,im in a Conda.

Then an NPC with no Name!!! was talking to me,scanning and attacking me.

I look at the Radar and see nothing(!!!) was there-full boost away.

My Shields are melting.

Hull @ 21%.

Looking @ the Radar again and a Elite Phyton was visible behind me.?.?

After boosting away,the Phyton is gone??

Might be P2P out of sync with your buddies. Hunting wings we've noticed we all often see completely different paint jobs on the targets. On Planets one of us often can't see the other though shield bumps and shots fired at them register. At one point we came across a small warehouse base. One of us could see and was attacked by skimmers. The other saw only the base, no skimmers and just drove in and collected canisters.
