Invisible path

Hello,
is there any way to make invisible path? I hoped that when you want your path without a curb the poles won't show up on those forest paths but sadly they do. Or do I do something wrong?

They unfortunately do I'm afraid. A trick you can do is grab the path tool and set it to the widest paths possible, and then click on the sides and "almost" add a path. So instead of adding a full on path you don't add one. That makes quite a few poles disappear
