I am stuck in the Lost Cavern and cannot find anything to throw at the heavy gate to get through it. There are no apparent seeds or stones that I can vortex and gust against the gate.
How far into the game are you? You pass through the Lost Cavern a few times. If you have vortex you shouldn't need to be in the Lost Cavern try making your way back to the Mines.
