OSX version

I've recently changed from PC to Mac. If I use the PC version of Elite Dangerous, will I be able to change to the Mac version when it is released, or will that need to be a new purchase?

You might want to change the subject from IOS to OSX.
IOS is the iPhone/iPad OS, OSX is the Mac OS.

I seem to remember this being asked before, and it's the logon that controls things, not the version so switching between the 2 versions won't be a problem. I can't find the quote on that though.

You know the Mac version will be about three months behind the PC version?

What pledge level or purchase did you go for? My version in the store lists downloads as 'unlimited', so can't see it mattering, but others may be different. One of my gift pledges showed '1' download.
