IP address changed mid session

Keeps disconnecting from server.

When trying to log in it would not accept my password, so I tried to set a new password and keep gettin this: "Your action could not be confirmed. Please request a new confirmation."

error: "ip address changed mid session"

I can't log into Frontier to create a static IP, what should I do?
To make matters worse I can't even contact Support. The issue I'm having does not appear in the list and there is no option to continue to Support. Please get your act together or reimberse me for the game.
 
FD has nothing to do with your IP, that's a matter between you and your ISP (and, possibly, VPN).

If you're playing through Steam - no Idea, you probably need to shut down and restart Steam. Otherwise, try to shut down and restart the Launcher.
 
I just started having this very same problem (not a Steam game). Computer's VPN is off, I opened a cmd.exe > ipconfig (before launching ED and after) and it matches the Network settings in ED. I logged out/in the Launcher, restarted the computer, reset my phone with VPN off as well. (wifi tethering cuz I'm at work, shh 🤫). It's a conspiracy to keep me productive.

It's weird that yesterday it was fine and today it's not. But that's computers for you. 😐

And it's suddenly fixed itself. I didn't do anything extra, it just stopped giving me the error and I'm playing. 🤨
 
That is your LAN IP that you are showing, its more likely to be the WAN IP that is changing - in your case the phone IP.
It was my laptop wireless IP. It could be as you say but it’s always been solid before (years). So, since it’s working now, I’ll report back of it gets all wonky again.
