Hello CMDRs
Iridium Wing is pleased to announce the Introduction of the IPL - Iridium PvP League. In the IPL, you can test your 1v1 PvP skill against other CMDRs and rise in our ranking.
We made an elo system where you'll gain / lose Elo based on the league rank of you and of your opponent. You can take on anyone that's up for a match, the ranking doesn't matter for matchmaking, just keep in mind that the higher the rank, the better the CMDR, but if you feel capable of taking a higher ranked CMDR as your opponent, feel free to do so, and if you win, your elo will rise massively.
Everything is coordinated in our Discord server, and our IPL Bot works as the place were you can open a new match, and then put in the outcome of the match. After you've played 5 matches, you'll be listed on our ladder on our website under https://iridiumwing.space/#/league and maybe you'll rise to be in the top 5, in the elite of the IPL. You don't need to be part of IW to join, we welcome anyone that wants to do some 1v1 PvP in the League, regardless of Allegiance, Ship Size or Occupation. Also, this is an always ongoing thing, it's going to be around all the time, so you don't need to worry about missing the fun!
