General / Off-Topic Ireland Win 6 Nations

I'm just about sobering up now!

Two highly entertaining games today. Congratulations to Scotland - they've come on a treat, and on another day, they could have sneaked it.

But today it's all about
IRELAND

And I know the vast majority of people back home, no matter religion or location, will be delighted with their performance. Winning the 6 Nations isn't easy - England and Wales are seriously good teams, and France, well, it took a drop kick to get past them.

I'm already looking forward to next Saturday. It'll be epic. 1948, 2009...2018?!?

Was great. I don't think it's a "particularly" strong team though it's not a weak team or anything but the opposition this year has not been fantastic at all. Can see Ireland steam rolling England at Twickenham next week.

Yeah, it was a good match and a good day to be Irish. :D Particularly at the end, both teams were trying desperately to score one last try in the last 10 minutes. I was kinda routing for Scotland to get one more, they played better than the score reflected.

Now the Irish team plays England on their home turf on St. Patrick's day, already Grand Slam winners. It'll be a good day for the pub, I tells ya!
