Is 1920x1080 enough for watching VR 360° videos?

I want to watch 1080p 360° YouTube videos with my VRBOX (Virtual Reality Box for $23)

I have Huawei Honor 7 and resolution is 1920x1080, so it is 960x1080 for ONE EYE.

Is it enough? Thank you

Yes it’s enough, but more the pixels x inch, better the image.

I just came down from a plane, they were having a Merlin iTeather . don't know what it is, I'm sure with no Gyros, but os 300$ and I think is a stand alone. No PC or phone required.
