Is anybody else having a hard time getting logged on?

Title says it all. I keep having long load times for getting in with either Steam or Epic Games accounts. Also, the forums seem slow. Anyone else?

I have the problem. The game even has trouble loading at startup. These forums are sloooow. I have no problem with other internet sites. Perhaps it's just now between western U.S. and UK? Mountain time zone here.

I was going to do some outfitting while cooking supper, but Frontier's servers keep timing out on me. :( The forums have been slow to respond all day as well...

The queen has made the interwebs slow, by borrowing the bandwidth to stream the crown on a 3 mile widescreen.
She made the defective, not upgraded, powered by breeze block internet slow...
Those who built their internet correctly from high Quality clay bricks thats sub contracted to companies at extreme prices were fine...

Servers have been just a little flaky all day, I was mining earlier & had to wait for a dozen or so seconds for prospector limpets to deploy & full refinery bins to convert into commodities in the cargo hold. Random little transaction issues.
Not had a problem logging in though, and it's probably just because lots of people are online over the holiday weekend in the UK.

It's also common in the days leading up to a patch for tweaks to be made to the game, for example the excessive drift when docking on a carrier (with the workaround to disable auto-rotation) appears to have been fixed about a week ago so the issues I've seen could be from either effect (or both).

It's pretty bad and it's been pretty bad for about 24 hours. Missions, supercruise/hypercruise transitions, starport services are all atrociously slow - Forums too. I think I waited about 2 to 3 minutes to drop out of supercruise on some of the worst ones. It had been painfully playable up until about now, but now it just drops even when browsing the mission board.

Sure would be nice to have a real "Server Status" in the launcher. A quick peek at downdetector.com will show the issue isn't isolated. I mean by the launcher's definition, my home network has a Server Status of "OK" and is up and ready for thousands of people to connect. Just because the server is pingable doesn't mean it's "OK"

Yes for both in-game and on the Forums.

Yeah, I’m having the same problems. All Frontier websites are flaky - either horribly slow, or just sit there trying to load, but will occasionally out of nowhere just be fine.

The game was a BIT laggy Wednesday evening, really bad last night (same issues as @ScribJellyDonut ) and today its completely unusable. The launcher takes a couple of minutes to appear, then takes several more minutes just to get to the hangar menu screen. Any attempt at playing results in another three or four minute wait, followed by a scarlet krait.

Are you using Comcast/Xfinity by any chance?

It's been bad for me all day as well.
Weirdly, on the suggestion of an IT friend, I disabled wifi on my phone and tried accessing the forums with cellular data. Zero problems, loaded right up. Turned wifi back on, can't access them again.

So methinks it's something with d'internets in the USA, possibly something's going "ploink" with AWS. (Aside from the expected lunacy around the CG area)

I've spent a total of 2 hours with ED today and never left the starport, just lost money in outfitting while the orange spiral swirled endlessly as I went off and watched youtube videos 😔
