And if not, why not?
Could it be the premium prices given (384cr per ton profit on Palladium at the moment) or is it Johnny McPewpew treating it as his personal fish in a barrel game?
I've only done just over 3500 tons and I'm in the top 15% which is ludicrous. I shouldn't be higher than top 70% at that level. We have no hope whatsoever of achieving the goal. We're just over tier three out of seven with 29 hours to go which is a shame. It would have been nice to have seen that station being built.
I think a lot of people came along, found that the profits hardly covered the wear and tear on their ships and went away again.
Couldn't something have been done to the local market to ensure that at least normal galactic profit margins could have been achieved despite the volume of material being shifted, if not the "premium prices" that were promised?
I know it's about doing something for the community rather than making loads of money but the "come and help us" blurb should have made that clear to people rather than enticing people in with the promise of profits only to fail to deliver them.
Apparently 4577 people have contributed to this so far. Where are they all?
