Is anyone else unable to communicate with friends ingame?

I have a strange problem If i target another human player within the same system as me i can send them a message, but if i try to contact someone on my friend list who is in another system, i cannot. It just says something along the lines of, 'message not sent, could not connect with X.'

Does anyone else have this problem? I posted my problem in the support section and got no answer, it's ruining the game for me and i've had it for ages, even back in gamma.

I have similar. I was behind 2 routers so i think the plu and plat was busted not opening portd on the edge routter. Jumped ontobedge router and.I.can now text some of.my friends not all.

So.my problem was network.

Ah i see, ok thank you, i'm afraid i don't know much about routers but i'll hit it with a hammer or something.

I can't even play with my friends properly. Other players i see, but usually they vanish in an instant. It's Solo for me since Beta. Which is a shame.

Well, they broke it during Gamma, and now they haven't fixed it fully. Ticket this and make QA team to look at. I know many people have this problem and as far as I know FD is aware. Still ticket this though, provide as much info as you can.

How do i make a ticket please? Is it something through the launcher or on the support forum? Because i made a post in the support forum some days back that went unanswered.

Forum doesn't guarantee response, yeah. Use support system - Launcher -> Support (small button at the top part of launcher). Clicking on it will open support site, you log in using your game's login and password. Create new ticket, provide time and date and commander name you tried to contact, and make sure to mention you got that fancy error message.

Yup, it worked pretty good in Beta...
