Is BGS Broken Right Now?

While working to increase our influence for our system faction, we have been getting some very odd results to basic actions and simple missions that cant be explained if this is all working as intended.

So as not to bore all of you with the pitiful details, is anyone else getting some odd results to missions and CMDR Actions? Influence going up when it should go down, or up, or certain States like Investment or expansion just lasting forever, and no actual expansion even though it says it was successful?

but i read some reports like yours on odd states generally, so concerning that you are not the only one.

on the expansion - did you have a system in range? because otherwise that would be the usual (none-)"message" if the system couldn't expand due to no target.

Investment lasting forever is entirely normal, in the right circumstances - I've seen systems be in Investment for well over a year.

As with goemon most systems I see working entirely normally and as expected, but there are occasionally very odd events or reports of them.

Expansion says "Successful" when it is complete regardless of if it was successful or not.
Station News will tell you where you expanded to if successfull.
Squad Page if your Squad is Affiliated is another way to spot any new systems if you missed the Station News.

Investment lasting forever is entirely normal, in the right circumstances - I've seen systems be in Investment for well over a year.

As with goemon most systems I see working entirely normally and as expected, but there are occasionally very odd events or reports of them.

I, and 6 other CMDRs have been completing massacre missions vs the opposing factions, turned in exploration data, and have done around 2 billion worth of trade (missions and non-mission transactions). The investment started on the 17th. The influence has also not corresponded at all to our efforts, as we have also been completing missions and piracy to keep the other factions influence and low. (2-5%)

What's the traffic in system? and how much of it is not yours?
What are the reports (bounty hunter and crime)?
What are all states of the faction you are backing in system?
And what is the population?
