In my status panel it says I got an invite from Selene Jean and the next step is to get friendly status with Alliance of Independent Systems. When I go to said rep in that faction it says I am halfway through friendly and on my way to allied. I still cannot proceed to the next step. Whats the deal with that?

Do you have an Alioth permit?
Oops my fault. I got the Alioth Independents confused with alliance of independent systems. I'm working on the permit and got mixed up. For those that might be confused as I Bill Turner needs friendly status with Alliance and allied status with Alioth Independents for the permit to Alioth.

Thanks. Got the permit now. Off to ice mining now. BTW it is much faster to have a business passenger module to do passenger missions as they pay much more right now.
Yep. That and selling exploration data really speeds things up.

I just got done doing my upgrades with him. I could have done without the Ice Mining on top of everything else, but I'm glad I'm done!
If you think BT is bad, wait till you try unlocking Ram Tah! The guy needs 50 Classified Scan Databanks to unlock, and the game isn't spawning any of consequence anywhere! I even followed a lead in another thread to a system in OUTBREAK with a Convoy Beacon! There were like 30 transport ships in that drop every time you went in, and after dropping in nearly 10 times, I didn't get a single CSD out of the lot! Plenty of other scan data, but not a one of those!
