Is exiting hyperspace between 2 sun normal or it's a bug?

the system right before the one i spawned between 2 sun i went straight into the star, i just stopped and it didnt matter but between 2 suns my temps was 250% instantly and well you can guess the rest. Lag? Bug? extra funny feature?

Just unlucky. The angle you are entered the system and the current orbit of the stars...

I've come close to your situation, but had just enough room and time to get out.

As far as I've heard It's a feature, not a bug. The stars orbit and move, and depending on the direction you jump to a star you end up at different points around it.

How many hours game play / credits did you lose?

well the game decided to put me back at the 98% i was when i entered. So the system before where i crashed into the sun was luck? I think the game was badly lagging.

I got lucky, it seems the game can see when it screwed up, my hold was empty and i always have insurance but still spawning between 2 sun isnt something my doctor would recommend for my heart even at my age =)

I dunno but it has happened to me too. Felt like I scooted in over one of the stars and thought it was a bug, but then the temperature started climbing...

I was totally disorientated, couldn't work out the best exit vector and the hull damage was dropping fast. Finally I emergency dropped from SC, losing more hull, but at least the temperature started dropping to a safe level. Then I could take a moment to assess the situation, find my exit vector and carefully jump out.

I managed to limp to the nearest Coriolis, still a bit breathless.

Sadly the story doesn't have a happy ending. I can only blame the still - shaking nerves, because I mistook the landing gear button for the boost button and Angel Rose'd into the back wall!

I love the rare occasions when I exit hyper into a binary system smack in between the suns. Makes a nice change from the mundane.

That's a bad luck bryan if I ever saw one ! "escaped twin suns burn ; boosted toward walls"
Here, have some rep.

White dwarves will you drop you right out of SC pretty fast if you don't do the zero throttle trick in the jumps.

I do that when i explore, not when lazily cruising around, still what i saw was like a super fast forward to boom you're out of sc and because of that i think it was the connection between my computer and the server..

I loved it last time it happened. Got out of there at about 220% and my poor space truck was sparking a bit. And with over 1m in cargo at the time my pulse was... raised.
