Newcomer / Intro Is Horizons 4 showing me items only accessible in Ody?

I happened upon a planetary distress signal. There I found a ship with a couple of occupied escape pods, the ship's data core, and an undiscovered (for me) material called a degraded power regulator. I tried numerous times to pick this up new material with my SRV, to no avail.
Searches on these forums showed a number of threads about these items in Odyssey so I'm presuming that this item is only accessible in Ody. Is that the case?

It is an Odyssey item the undegraded version is used to power up settlements when taken inside the correct bit of the power building, it gets carried around either in your suits storage (backpack) or in your ship.
