is it hate week?

Its the thing to do these days, go on the forums and rant about anything. Ive been playing Archeage, those forums are just pure toxic. Ok there has been mistakes made, and there have been probs, but you find me one online/mmo stlye game thats been launched without. Hater's hate, that's what they do. Even when they leave a game, they still troll the forums, quite sad really.

I beta tested and played Elder Scrolls Online for a bit. Lovely to look at, enjoyable and I had a really great time. I was amazed at the amount of hate poured out through forums and social media....right down to people seemingly revelling in predictions of how the game would soon fail. I really couldn't see why the game attracted so much flack. By the sound of things it wasn't alone.

It's just hard for me to understand where these complainers get their kicks and enjoyment in doing such things. Some seriously strange people out there I guess LOL.

P.S. I only left ESO because I knew I'd have no time to play it once I got involved in ED alpha/beta :) Other than that reason, I thought it was amazing and great fun.

There are some people who genuinely don't have reliable/regular access to the internet: I feel genuinely sorry for them and they should get a full refund if they pre-ordered. KS pledges is another matter.

There are some who do/could have Internet access but wanted to play offline only: I hope they decide solo mode will be an acceptable compromise.

There are those who are complaining because they see the game as currently incomplete: a game with this much scope will never be complete enough for some. They should just play the game when it comes out and not worry what the world says about it. This is the way gaming is nowadays; sandbox type games stay in development for years after release.
