Recently my main focus has been the self induced living hell that is naval rank grinding. I don't really do myself any favours though, since I am always switching between Imperial and Federal ranks. it has given me somewhat of a rare perspective though and I wanted to ask how others feel on the subject.
I have noticed that Imperial ranks seem to go by MUCH faster than Federal. It's taken a playtime of about 250 hours for me to get to Ensign with the Feds, but I went from absolutely nothing to Viscount with the Imperials in less than 100. Is this normal? And if so, what gives?
