Is it just me or Has The Starfield Dots..?

While in SC, and once you leave the light pollution of the sun, the star dots that zoom past you as your cruising seem to be much more brighter or there are many more actual dots.

And sometimes there even seems to be a tad bit of color on them, the ones that really stretch out. I dunno maybe it's me but they seem brighter and more noticeable.

They're not stars, they're part of the HUD and not the generated image of the galaxy. If stars were zooming past you at such a great speed you'd be travelling many thousand times the speed of light.

regardless of the specifics, its supposed to represent "space dust" afaik. It serves nothing more than a graphical eye candy or in the case of SOME of the FA off hardcore, a visual rep of their movement inspace and a way of adjusting.

A nice touch is when the canopy is broken and they disappear where there's no glass.

yeah i´ve noticed that too since 1.3. They´re larger, and more noticable..
see there back in 1.2..
