Is it just me or...

Is anyone else having trouble viewing the new Elite: Dangerous website correctly with Google Chrome v36.0.1985.125 ?

Seems to work fine on Safari v7.0.5

PS my browser is up to date and running on a MBP.

PPS The new website doesn't appear to run correctly on my iPad Air using Safari

On my Google Chrome 36 ... it shows directly the animations on the top of the homepage. It is true that the site seems a little disordered

Perhaps a moderator will can report it to Frontier ? Other opinions on the site of ED in Google Chrome v36, would be welcome

i'll say it in large letters so it gets noticed this time:

Clear your cache

go to:

'chrome://settings/'

+ Show advanced settings

and then 'Clear browsing data'

alternatively use a program like CCleaner to do it for you.

Maybe I should do all my posts in big letters oh and caps too just for good measure.
Well at least I now know I'm not on everyone's ignore list.

Running the same build version of Google Chrome on my PC and it displayed fine first time I went to it. Also shows up fine on a nexus 7 and 4 running chrome. But without the animation.

na, i'd say its lack of knowledge more than ignorance as there are quite a few users who have no idea what a browser cache is or does ;)

I have mine set to clear data whenever i quit the browser, makes for a slightly slower page load on my fav sites but worth it to avoid problems like the one this thread refers to.

Couldn't you also do a Ctrl + F5 on the page ?

That should force a reset and tell the browser not to use cached entries and go fetch the new ?

you could but if the problem effects the whole site and not just the landing page you're going to run into problems the first time you click a link, better to get rid of the lot in one hit and save yourself potential problems later on.
