Since pp was added we have silly speed limits, even at anarchy stations (sic), and ridiculous bounties. I have a wanted bounty of over 100,000 cr and the same org. at the same space station and it owes me over 200,000 cr. weird, no just silly. Should the name change to elite not so dangerous now. or, with power play - elite age of empires. Perhaps the developers (who work very hard) should introduce an "Elite dangerous - the original", for those of us who loved the game of one alone against the universe, without having to work for someone (it's true, you don't have to pledge, I haven't, and if I continue with elite I never will. I could go on but :S

I really do not understand the issue with speed limits, ignore them and just don't ram people, it's no different to how it always was.
We have Elite Dangerous, the original - it was made in 1987
Maybe you should - I'm not quite following. If you want to be "one alone against the universe", play in solo.
Speed limits can be ignored.
My only complaint about PP is that I'm in no way compelled to take part.

Maybe if they just renamed them to liability limits...
And you don't get away with murder in real life by paying the government money, right?

PP and the speed limits are both completely ignored by yours truly.
The speed limit was introduced to stop the station ramming abuse. Having a bounty in some systems, makes me feel a little dirty, but pretty much everyone who plays Powerplay will now be wanted somewhere, which is cool. I am now not aligned with any of the factions and am busy doing my own thing in my home systems (yes i have a bounty there too for being a little trigger happy, but that's my fault). The games like a movie, keep on dreaming, keep pretending
Yeah, it was. I played it on C64 and a few years later on a PC(!) too (286). Good old days.
