Is it me or does the ship's voice have a very low volume now?

I had to turn all other volumes down and turn the voice computer all the way up to hear it clearly.
There was an update note about the ship's voice being made more robust but imho they forgot to turn the volume back up.

Am I the only one?

The sound seems to actually have an origin point now, so it echoes and I suspect has varying clarity for VR based on their position.

Makes sense. Not everyone is wearing a helmet, so the sound isn't right in your ear.

Also I think there's a slider for the volume in there.

I already have the volume slider all the way up, and turned some others down, it's okay'ish now.
It's not such a big deal but just something I noticed.

I've noticed it too. There was one moment in particular when she said something and I was surprised to hear a voice, cause she'd been so quiet.

I think all the voices are a bit low in the game ATM, coming in to a station today and had no idea I had been told I couldn't dock XD

Even with headphones Verity is getting drowned out at times. Really hard to hear through TV speakers.

Not just you, sound settings seem off, one of the loudest for me was nighttime which is supposed to be quieter. I run surround sound and a subwoofer. Hearing a lot of strange ambient sounds I didn't notice before.

I had an issue where all audio was really quiet, then I decreased the slider for music and all the game volume increased massively. It was really quiet until I did that, immediate fix after adjusted the slider once. Can then change it back to what it was on to start with but volume will be louder. All sounds good again now [up]

Will try that as I remember a similar bug with the station lighting a few patches ago!

Glad it wasn't just me that noticed this lol
