Is it me, or have ships in CZ got a ton more hitpoints recently?

I think the qualities that decidedly end these CZs faster are quite similar to those of pvp wingfights (as has been stated) but much easier. So plasmas (or frags/pacifiers) for main damage, a feedback rail (or hammer) for SCB canceling and a multicannon (or frag) for corrosive Effect. The other very useful quality is speed so you can get around the battle field.
Where the two differ is you won’t need nearly as many deffenses and/or evasion skills.
After doing some of these in my eagle and shieldless cobra 3 I went back to my collector Krait (weak deffenses but fast and packs a moderate punch thanks to 3 APAs, a corrosive multie and a feedback hammer) and man the CZ felt way too short.
