Is it normal that in my planet zoo game Sandbox mode

All the things, object and stuff are always unlocked and I do not need to research them. I notice in sandbox mode, I only need to research the animal.

my question is, in sandbox mode, we do not need to research other object and stuff? All are already researched?

Yes you are correct. Sandbox is the version of the game with no/very minimal limitations.

If you're looking for challenges on pre-made maps then career mode is there.

If you're looking to have the full management experience then you have Challenge Mode (offline) and Franchise Mode (Online) where you start with nothing and a little money and have to build and research your zoo from the ground up.
