Horizons Is it ok to delete my old products folder?

Now that Horizons has launched is it ok if I remove my older 1.x products folder (FORC-FDEV-D-1002)? I have no intention of ever playing anything but Horizons 64-bit. I just don't want to screw up my saves or something lol. Thanks in advance.

If you have it linked on steam.

What i did was make Elite Dangerous Horizons folder in steamapps then copied elite-dangerous-64 folder in there.
Then installed horizon, steam discovered the files.
Altogether it's 6.61gb.
but that's for steam version, not sure about the FD client version.

I'm on non-steam. I think it would be OK but I'd rather ask first. I think all my character info is stored on their end but I'm not entirely sure.

yeah looks like ive got 5 products and 28 gb.. I don't need all that.. I only want to play horizons..
if I uninstall from launcher does that uninstall it all ?

I did read somewhere that you can click on the game in launcher you don't want and use the launcher option to un-install it.
so tec you can un-install all besides say Horizon and it will work just fine, but do it at you're own risk.

copied all the beta files into the 64 bit version that was created when i tried to download the live version. Sped the entire process up quite a bit. Then i deleted the beta. Not sure why they set it up to re download the entire game when they could have done the exact same thing i did and make the upgrade process that much quicker.

No need to do that. I just checked the options for cache files and virtual cache in the launcher. That way the installation only took about 10-15 minutes. No need to manually copying filrs around anymore.
