Is it possible to connect two Stations for a Train, Jeep...?

I just wanted to build a Transport Ride where Guests get transported to the Arctic Hall but it seems like I can't connect 2 Stations. Is this impossible or am I just doing something wrong?

I think you need to place the second station via editing the first one, not by placing a new one from the facilities menu. Here is a useful tutorial which helped me a lot:

I was recently trying to do this with a gondola but couldn't. Lea is right, you have to add the extra stations to the original track, I couldn't find a way to connect two separate ones.
