Is it possible to recover old logs from frontier?

A while ago y changed the computer where i play ED. I didn't realize at the time that i should have copied my CMDR logs. So my hope is that there is some method to obtain them from the game (or my Frontier account) somehow. I have looked it up around the web but didn't find anything solid (just comments echoing "you should have copied it...").
Thanks for whatever info you can give me. Cheers.

As far as I am aware, logs and visited planets are kept on your harddrive. If it is gone so are the logs etc. If you still have your old computer they should still be there somewhere.

Go to your old machine and navigate to this directory.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Elite Dangerous\Products\elite-dangerous-64\Logs

This assume you purchased the Steam license. If you purchase a license directly from Frontier or Epic, they may be in a slightly different directory name. In that case you will have to search your hard drive for the file name "EliteDangerous64.exe".That file will be located in a directory call "Products\elite-dangerous-64" and that's were you will find the "logs" directory.

If that directory is missing or the game was removed, then all hope is lost unless you backed up your system. As was stated above, the logs are generated as part of gameplay and are not stored on the Steam Servers.

Good luck.

Go to your old machine and navigate to this directory.

........... "Logs" ....

Those are your "Netlogs"...

... However, your Journals are kept in your Saved Games directory:

%USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\

This is also true for Steam installations and as well as the Journals, other info is held there, e.g:

Thanks guys. I know where the logs are. And i understand your answers (in fact i reckon i also said those things in my original question). Maybe i couldn't explain myself clearly. My fault.
I wanted my old logs in order to use them with EDDiscovery and have my complete colection. If i could just copied them Of course everything is kept in Elite servers. How would yuou be able to continue your game from any other computer if it wasn't that way. Maybe they dont have your "logs" in the same form we do but they have all the data. In fact EDDiscovery is compatible now in consoles an retrieves that kind of info from previous dates (don´t know the time limits yet, up to a month i reckon).
Anyway thanks for your try.
Cheers.
