Is it possible to rename your private group in 1.3?

I was thinking that a lot of folk will want to rename their private group with 1.3 incoming.

Does anyone know if this is on the cards?

It would be nice to get some insight and suggestions.

I would absolutely name mine "Carebear Simulator". I do trade with my T9 there, gankers are too common in Open.

I think more robust tools should also be included with your request there Ben - Think of poor Mobius and his 7K+ members

As a member of a busy gaming oriented site I wanted to put together a group for that site but not using my own name as the group name I wanted to name it relevant to the site so members there could find it.

In my case making it easier to find a join the right group leads to more people posting about the game on the site which translates to more people interested and buying the game.

Yeah I was doing a little checking of my friends list and being annoyed with its 150+ length then recalled poor Mobius. I hate to think how much time he must spend managing that group

Can you not just create a new group and let your old group members know you are moving?

No because groups are always given the name of the person that creates them.

That's why we want an option to either rename the group or specify the name when you create it.
