Is it possible to run two copies of ED on ONE computer?

Question as in title. According to http://firstgreatexpedition.org/mybb/printthread.php?tid=3108 its possible, but I dont know if it is still working or more important, whats the FD opinion on this?

Thinking of buying a 2nd cmdr

Yes.

Copy the launcher with the different name.

Verify the new one and launch one or the other.

yes, it's a bug with the steam client.

You can copy the Launcher and DIR over but there is no need to. As of 2.0 The Launcher now remembers multiple commanders. YOu will get a Verify COde the first time you log on but only that once. From there on out just use the one launcher.Icon and change the logon name.

Why not? You don't have to go through steam, just download and use the FD launcher.
