Is it possible to use other players save game?

If I buy new elite licence, is it possible to use someone elses saved game? So the new player would not have to start from the scratch. I am thinking of buying elite for my son from black friday sale. And my brother won't play anymore. So could my son use my brothers save game?

no, its not possible to use a save created on one account with another, your son would have to use your brother's account to access his save and that would be against the terms & conditions.

As I have my millions and my son is impatient, is there any way to give him some cash? Or is the only way that I buy expensive stuff and dumb it somewhere to my son? Or we go to some resource site in wing and he shoot's one time to collect bounty. Are there any other methods to give some easy start up cash :)

Just login with your brothers account if your brother is ok with it. No one will know and quite frankly no one will care besides a few on these forums. Only problem is that logging in with your brothers account will require his assistance due to versification sent to his email. AND if the brother decides to play Elite again it will render that account useless for your son since it will be verified again on your brothers PC which locks your son out.

Accounts can only be active on one PC at a time. You can buy multiple copies for multiple accounts on one PC though. So your son will still be ble to play but it will be on his own account.

dumping cargo is the only way of transferring cash but as has been stated this could ruin the game for him, what i'd do is use your superior resources to support him in a trade wing. that way he can get to know the markets and how to make money while getting a profit boost from the trade dividends you get while in a wing.

I know it sounds patronising to tell him to earn it himself, but it would really be better.
Maybe drop him just a few ton of gold to allow him to buy a few things for h8s sidey, or cover his back while he kills things in a nav point. Giving him a few million will ensure he feels no ownership of his achievements.

One other good think about starting from scratch, is that a CMDR in a sidey has nothing to lose. He can make all the mistakes he needs to properly learn how to play this complex game.
You need to crash into stations, be killed by pirates, overheat in stars, etc. Lots of ways to die, and it's good to get some out of the way early.

According to the EULA you are not allowed to install the game on a computer which isn't under your custody. In the worst case FDEV could lock the account.
EULA said:
2.1 Subject to your compliance with the terms of this EULA, we grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, revocable, limited licence to use the Game. You are permitted to:
(a) load the Game into and Use it on a single device which is under your custody and control and which meets the specifications referred to in the manual for your own private and domestic Use;
(b) transfer the Game from one such device to another; provided the Game is Used on only one device at any one time and any device on which it is Used is under your custody and control at the time of Use.

It's impossible to proof that your son isn't playing on a computer under your brothers custody, but I don't want to encourage you or your family to act against the EULA.
So my advice would be that your brother contacts support and ask them to transfer the account to your son:

OR you teach your son that credits don't come for free, get him a copy of ED and let him work for his Anaconda ;)

I bought both my kids accounts and went neutron farming for them.
Got them both into Anocondas within a week or two.

Now that my Son understands the mechanics of most aspects of the game, he's got a fresh account with a swindler 1000c. Thank you Black Friday:D

My daughter will also tread this path.

If I'd have thrown them in at the deep end, I don't think either of them would be interested.
At least this way, I have a spare account and two (trained) wingmen.

Judge as as you will, it works for me.

Let let me also add, I bought a lifetime pass thinking the two accounts could be swapped.
after contacting support, I was told this is a no can do.
