is it possible

i would like too donate cr to a cmdr.. now that ship and AI are harder i feel that newbs get a hard time getting ahead with 1000cr and a loan ship.

Best way is to drop him some valuable cargo. You could also wing up and share profits from bounty hunting (with you doing the work and he tries to stay alive).

PS
Thinking about it, second option sounds like more fun.

thnx. though i have never winged up :( i will give him cargo if he gets back too me!

Mr friend joined a couple of weeks ago. AI is not that bad, he's beaten everything that's interdicted him bar one. When he first started I dropped him some gold to upgrade his sidewinder and he ran missions up to an Adder.

Next I helped him get to community goal location and drop 1 tonne and get 1 bounty, then he had 1.6m towards a decent cobra MkIII build. The rest is history, he's just upgraded his DBX to an AspX with 15m assets.

I just don't get this.

Elite starts with a crap ship and no money. That is the whole point of the game.
If you gift a player out of that, you spoil for him about the only interesting and challenging part of the game (well it was anyway, now even that is easy)

If you start with a mid range ship and loads of cash then you haven't actually played Elite.

I escorted my buddy around a Hi-RES and had him snipe wanted Anacondas and such that were being killed by the police. Then we did come trading CGs together. Got him from the Sidey to a Hauler to a Viper mk. III and finally a Cobra mk. III in a couple weeks.

That's why I took him to CG so he could earn his own money. Helping doesn't mean giving, sure a few tonnes of gold at the end the start helped get him going, could just as easy sit on your wing and earn trade percentage too.

Even worse, the learning part is probably best done in a free Sidey, rather than a Conda. As this forum can testify to. :p But hey, if thats what people want, none of my business.

wing up and drop him some valuable cargo, like rare goods from a couple hundred ly away. probably best way to do it. just make sure the rare goods are legal where you are.

Hey, there are some commodities worth more than others acquired from missions.

Try,

Diplomatic bags,
Antiquities,

Etc...

Often worth 100k apiece and therfore the best way to transfer CR.
