Is it worth coming back to the game yet?

I've not played for months now, as any park over a certain size and a moderately high number of peeps turns into a slide show of around 6fps.

In all this 'picnic bench' hype, has there been any mention of anything improving the FPS?

you will have to answer that yourself. Without knowing your PC specs, how do expect anyone to answer that question. I know you can limit the number of guests in your park, you might want to try that first.......

Unfortunately the FPS wont ever be improved unless people start messing around with mods that turn certain things off so it runs better maybe. It's the fault of DX11

It might be worth trying. I know a few specific issues have been resolved to do with scenary, so there may be improvement on some parks.

I recently uninasteled the game. At the current rate, I can see it will be more playable for me at the end of the next year. There was progress made, but not enough imo. The most painftull problems are still there,
