I didn't see any when there yesterday, and not sure if it is supposed to be there or not. I found my meta alloy for unlocking Farseer at the planet side base, not the orbital station.

e.g. the base on planet Darnielle Progress (spelling?) or something like that.

edit - as of yesterday I can confirm Darnielle Progress had the meta alloys. Just a limited handful per visit but all I needed was 1
