Is Mining and Engineering still broken?

Mining I know but didn't test it. Not my current thing. Others players on the Forum are taking care of this. Remote engineering is down and don't bother with it. Engineering works as long as one goes to the engineer base, only click on items in bright orange and don't move the controller or on a PC the mouse over grey shaded items. If one has all the mats they can complete engineering including effects. If lacking mats the screen will soft lock. Many posts on the Forum with more details. I'm on the PC and totally engineered an Imp Eagle after the update including effects. Why, I don't know. Maybe I was bored. Your results may vary.

Thanks, tried engineering at an engineer wouldn't work for me- perhaps I moved off the highlighted part. Had to exit to main menu to get out of it.

Remote engineering is down. On the PC go to the engineering base. Only select items in bright orange. Selecting grey items will initiate a soft lock. When the screen locks in engineering go to the right panel and select engineers then exit. Then enter engineering again. It works the same without having to exit to the main menu.

Being bored and playing around with an Imperial Eagle build I went with lightweight plus super perpetrator effects on two rail guns. Engineering is working if we don't click in the wrong places.

Engineering seems to work OK for me using the mouse, if I take care just to click on the controls that are active. It seems to lock the engineering screen when I navigate using the arrow/directional keys on controller or PC.

I tried to go to the remote engineering screen. only shows the recipies and nothing else. couldn't leave the screen back to the station menu. had to quit.

I will come back when the game breaking bugs are squashed.

I managed some engineering yesterday by selecting show available blueprints, but it would softlock if I ever selected the wrong place but it sorta worked.

It may be a part of the bug but have the G5 mats required for G5 dirty drives changed ?

I did some core mining last night, then fell into a white dwarf and died, can confirm white dwarves working as normal
