Is my Corvette possessed?

When I was playing around with builds for the Corvette on Coriolis last night, I noticed that the stock hull integrity is 666. That's funny, I thought. Had a bit of a laugh and then quickly forgot about it. Well, today I finally bought one, outfitted it, and got all the colors and decals and ship kit stuff to my liking. And what do I see when I go to test out the weaponry? This:

Odd coincidence, lucky lighting, or is my Corvette possessed? [where is it]

(Loving this thing so far. Feels like I'm flying a giant lightsaber.)

Is that the red paint from the Vibrant pack?
That one looks so fabolous. Really like that one and the most recent Chromed for the Corvette.

On the issue at hand I wouldn't start worrying until at least you start getting blackouts and flickering lights accompanied with odd noises. Happens way too often. Yep.

It's actually from the Icarus pack. I had a hard time choosing between it and the pure red from the Vibrant, but I like the additional details and the red and white scheme.

Don’t be ridiculous. The bobblehead is possessed. Mine killed all the others I had and ate them.

I guess it's a good thing I only bought one of them. If I was the Coriolis station next to her, I might be worried, but I don't think stations have feelings. ;)

Did you try self destruction yet?

I dare not. I'm worried she may have already had enough time to sabotage the escape pod by this point. :O

If you happen to be exploring an USS and come across a floating bit of Corvette hull with the words "Liberty Prime" or "CAM-14" on it, heed this warning and jump away! Chances are, she's floating somewhere nearby, too.

Just make sure to untick the rebuy option and everything should be fine.

Sadly I don't have a picture of it but the first time I flew mine I had the Black Friday paintjob on it and red engine effects. When the thrusters on top of the ship fired as it was coming in to land, it looked like Darth Maul :D

Fixed or gimbaled Beams?

And what type and special effect?

Just curious.

A couple 4A fixed beams. No mods or experimental effects (yet), just the red weapon color detailing. I must've taken the screenshot at the right moment, since there appears to be two beams per, or perhaps that's normal and it's just an oddity of human vision that I only ever think I'm seeing one at a time.

The huge Beams are actually 4 beams that rotate like a Gattling gun. One fires at time minimizing heat and creating the illusion of a solid beam. I think from memory.

I just finished engineering a Dual 4A Fixed Beam Corvette.

Both G5 Overcharged, Oversized mod for +75.2% bonus to damage.

G5 Weapon focused Power Distributor +60% weapons capacity & +44% weapons recharge. With Cluster Capacitors.

Every other module has been engineered to lower and keep the thermals under control.

Its a Deathstar, been doing Wing Assassination missions with it.
There are more practical weapon builds of course - but it feels so Sci-fi, satisfying and brutal.

I've been going back and forth and what to do with the beams. Conventional wisdom seems to be to go with G5 Efficient to maximize time on target before the capacitor drains or G1 Long Range to eliminate fall off, but I might just borrow your idea. I mean, it the ship already looks like a Sith war machine, and what kind of Sith would choose "efficient" over "overcharged"?

Thanks :)

The Weapons Capacitor is huge now with 3.0 engineering +60%.

The Capacitor lasts for a very long time now. Just have to keep the heat down.
I can drain the Capacitor and keep below 100% heat.

Clean Drives with Thermal Spread special for -70% thermal load.
Shielded FSD with Thermal Spread special effect for -40% thermal load.

Oh and I am seriously considering getting the red devil horned bobblehead now.
Thanks.
