Newcomer / Intro Is my pre-order Eagle permanent?

I was wondering if, since this ship was purchased, I will always have it, even if it gets blown up (of which I am most certain). Or, do I need to insure it?

You will need to make sure you have enough insurance buy another. If not, it's back to a Sidewinder.

The status panel on the right will tell you how much you will need to have to cover the insurance.

Aslong as you have money to pay for insurance(or you don't go over 200,000 on a loan to buy it back), then yes you will allways have it

No when you are broke because of dying to much.
Then the the free eagle will be lost.

Only way to get it back is by starting a new save and deleting the old one.

Yes, you'll always have your Freagle but if it gets destroyed, you will of course have to clear your save and start over to get it back.

I sold mine for the credits to improve my Sidey. Burst lasers, Power generator, etc. I hunt NPC bounties and anything else I see wanted.
