Is Nvidia 3d currently working with ED?

Tried a DK2 for VR and didn't really get on with it. Not the in game experience, rather it's weight, comfort, poor resolution (compared to a monitor) and screendoor.

I have a 3d capable Nvidia card and monitor. Is ED 2.2 working with Nvidia 3d, and if so, is it worth the effort of buying a pair of 3d glasses?

Elite support 3d and in settings there is 3d options. I have seen people post that 3d works well and others say that it doesn't. But if you google "elite dangerous 3d" you will find some reddit post saying it works or how to fix problems some people have had and couple youtube videos. I haven't used elite on 3d display myself, so i can't tell how well it work.

For me, the ED side by side 3D option works perfect, I'm playing with a Radeon R9 270x 4GB card in a 3D LG 42LA6210 TV with passive polarized glasses, good inmersion even with the resolution cutted to half in both axis.

I tried with a Homido VR using a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 (5.5 inch) using the USB cable, and was not better than the TV, in fact the resolution was worst, because Trinus VR software displays 110 degrees width, compress the image and the texts are difficult to read
