Is Rank Progression Still Broken?

I was excited to see what the new mission system was like in 1.3 this week. Previously, in older versions, I reached the rank of Warrant Officer and after many weeks never saw another mission for rank progression, even though I was doing the rep mission with minor and major factions.

In 1.3,now I see missions for rank progression that clearly state that if I complete it, I will get the next level. It clearly it labels it: Ensign. I think great, I'll go do that. I complete the mission, go back to the station, check it off in the bulletin board and then check my status, and I still see no actually rank progression. I'm still stuck at Warrant Officer. I keep doing this and it keeps not giving me what I expect.

Anyone else experiencing this? Do I have to hold off on completing missions until they fix it, or is this a percentage thing now? Do I need to do an X number of these stupid missions to actually reach the next rank now?

I've noticed the last two Imperial naval ascension levels required me to complete two missions before my rank was upgraded. Seems to me it does not work fine.

This is got to be based on individual accounts, I have done no less than 15 missions to receive my Duke rank, 2 today alone after it was announced in our teamspeak channel that they fixed it today. I have submitted a ticket to FD and am still waiting on a reply. It is very frustrating because I would like to get it behind me and work on other things.

Unless more than one mission is necessary, I'm seeing the same problem as you. I was knocked back from warrant to chief petty officer somehow during the upgrades but no big deal. Back at warrant easy enough. I completed a rank progression mission to ensign yesterday but still at warrant officer. The crazy thing is that one station I frequent, which is independent, has been offering 3 to 4 federal navy rank progression missions at the same time. I haven't had time to report it yet. I'm not in a big hurry to get to ensign.

I've done 3 rank progression missions so far to go from Master to Squire, still haven't received my promotion.

Is it still bugged, in different ways, depending on individual accounts
Some are ok
Others bugged and needed lot of ascensions missions to get the rank
Others bugged completing lot of ascension missions without getting the rank
Others (like me) never getting ascension missions. Allied from ages, with TONs of missions for aligned subfactions in many different systems. And still nothing...

I was at Count. Then went to Earl. Then they rest it on Monday and I went back to Count, but I got an assension mission right away and went back to Earl.

Then I did a few missions for the Feds and went from chief petty officer to ensign.

Now, for some reason, I am back at Lord in the Empire. So yes, it's still broken.

I hope they also fix the LOW and HI Resource extraction sites situation too.
